The wireless staff unit consists of a base station and a handset.
Base station is a part of the set, which ensures communication with the wireless handset, communication over the local area network (LAN) provided with the router (switch), and making phone calls using ATE. The range of gigaset base station is limited, up to 50 m indoors, the range is reduced when ECO mode is activated. Power supply is realized from the backbone line of the MediCall system by connection via power adapter, which is part of the set.
Handset is a receiving apparatus, providing connection with the base station. Handset charger is a part of the set.The wireless staff unit is a standart mobile phone, which is connected to the system via the base station. It can be used in staff´s rooms, or in the place of staff terminal installation. The element enables staff members movements within the range of the mobile phone while maintaining the availability of immediate care and help.
Repeater for BSJ IP (110601) is used for increasing the range of Gigaset Base station and at the same time it extends the reception range of the handsets. Within such an extended area it is possible to use all the features as on the base station.
